We’re implementing a wide range of projects which are looking to change or improve how people in Newcastle receive or access care, advice, support and treatment in the future.

Rather than health and care professionals and organisations working separately to look after people – we are bringing them together to make the system less complicated, more joined-up and co-ordinated, with a focus firmly on people’s individual needs.

But why? What’s our rationale for working in this way and how are we going to achieve our vision.

Our current health and care project priorities are outlined in more detail on the pages within this section of the website.
